The CM- 67is a large dual diaphragm tube condenser microphone based on the famous Neumann U67design and specifications.
The Advanced Audio CM-67 features a very accurate 1.07” capsule with 6 micron German mylar diaphragms. This capsule has a frequency response within 2 db of the Neumann K67 mylar capsules used in tube microphones.
The 6072a circuit has been upgraded by us to provide a lower output impedance with slightly more headroom than the circuit used in the original U67 yet this circuit it able to provide a faster transient response when driving the authentic BV11 dual bobbin output transformer wound to the original Telefunken blueprints.
The BV11output transformer will deliver +18dbm with less than 1% distortion and respond down to 20hz.
